10 Therefore, Japan would like so propose the following amendments wills regard to MEPC 39/6, annex 2:

In Regulation 18, subparagraph (5)(b), replace "to provide fuel oil" by "when supplying fuel oil to ships provide".

In subparagraph (5)(d), replace "take appropriate measures" by "endeavour".
